GENE SIMMONS’ The Vault Box Set To Include 1977 Love Gun Demos Featuring VAN HALEN Brothers

Van Halen News Desk is reporting that KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons’ upcoming career-spanning solo recordings box set, The Vault, will include three long-lost KISS demo recordings that feature Eddie and Alex Van Halen playing alongside Gene, who sings and plays bass on the material.

To understand how these tracks came to be, revisit Van Halen’s history with Simmons at Van Halen News Desk.

Simmons previously issued the following: “For the past three years, I've been working on something that I've wanted to share with you my entire life. I’ve gone through hours and hours of music I've recorded and written over the past 50 years to craft my career-spanning solo recordings box set. It's called The Vault.

"The Vault is 150+ never before released songs I've written, going all the way back to when I was 14 years old, to some of the songs that became KISS classics.10 CDs inside The Vault. It's finally ready to bring to you - yeah that's right, I said 'bring to you' because what I'm going to be doing is something that's never been done before by any artist or band. I'm going to hand-deliver The Vault box set to you.

"I also wanted you to have really cool stuff: an exclusive Gene Simmons action figure, an In Gene We Trust medallion, a beautiful full colour book packed with photos from my peronsal archives, and my stories behind the songs - and a very special surprise item from me to you. You're not going to believe the things we found."

Stay tuned for updates.
