GENE SIMMONS' Wife SHANNON TWEED Fires Back At PAUL STANLEY Over PRINCE Drama - “You Can’t Apologize For Someone Else, It’s Not Up To You”

Gene Simmons’ wife Shannon Tweed has fired back at her husband’s KISS bandmate, Paul Stanley, after Paul apologized for Genes’s recent insensitive comments about Prince, who passed away in April at 57 years of age.
Simmons was raked over the coals after commenting on Prince's recent tragic death to Newsweek, stating “I think Prince was heads, hands and feet above all the rest of them. I thought he left [Michael] Jackson in the dust. Prince was way beyond that. But how pathetic that he killed himself. Don’t kid yourself, that’s what he did. Slowly, I’ll grant you... but that’s what drugs and alcohol is: a slow death.”
Paul Stanley then issued the following via Twitter:
Embarrassed by cold clueless statements re Prince's death. Without all the facts better to say nothing. My apologies https://t.co/Arb5XQ4o7l

This didn’t sit well with Gene’s wife, Shannon, who took to Twitter to hit back at Paul. The back and forth between Shannon and Paul can be seen below:
We ALL have our failings but true friends don't point at them & throw you under the bus! Especially partners of 40 years!

Partners of 40 years says it all. Don't confuse walking under the bus with being thrown under. My apology was right. https://t.co/FF9dG6Tfo1
