GHOST Win Swedish Grammis Awards For Best Hard Rock/Metal Album

The Swedish Grammis Awards, the Swedish version of the Grammy awards, was held tonight and Ghost won the Grammis for Best Hard Rock/Metal Album for Meliora. Ghost also performed “He Is” at the ceremony. Video can be seen below.

Graveyard – Innocence & Decadence
Refused – Freedom
Tribulation – Children Of The Night
This continues Ghost's momentum as they won the Grammy in the “Best Metal Performance” category for the song "Cirice", from their 2015 album Meliora. The announcement was made during the pre-telecast ceremony at the 58th annual Grammy Awards, which was held February 15th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Prior to the awards ceremony, Ghost made an appearance on the red carpet. Check out video below:
The band was on hand, dressed in full stage atire, to accept the Grammy. In his brief acceptance speech, Ghost frontman Papa Emeritus III said: "Hello, we are Ghost. Thank you so much for this. This is a big, big thing for us, obviously. And, you know, a nightmare has just turned into a dream. So… thank you all for that. Thank you, everybody involved, and thank you for voting. Now, go party."

This year's Grammy Awards process registered more than 21,000 submissions over a 12-month eligibility period (October 1st, 2014 – September 30th, 2015).
