GHOST Wins 2016 Grammy Award For Best Metal Performance

Sweden's Ghost has won the Grammy in the Best Metal Performance category for the song "Cirice", from their 2015 album Meliora. The announcement was made during the pre-telecast ceremony at the 58th annual Grammy Awards, which is being held tonight (February 15th) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The band was on hand, dressed in full stage atire, to accept the Grammy. In his brief acceptance speech, Ghost frontman Papa Emeritus III said: "Hello, we are Ghost. Thank you so much for this. This is a big, big thing for us, obviously. And, you know, a nightmare has just turned into a dream. So… thank you all for that. Thank you, everybody involved, and thank you for voting. Now, go party."
