GLENN DANZIG - “Maybe People Who Listen To DANZIG Might Not Think AEROSMITH Has Some Great Songs, But They Do”
July 10, 2015, 9 years ago
Danzig and AFM Records continue their successful collaboration (which started in 2007 with The Lost Tracks) this fall with the long-awaited cover album, Skeletons, a collection of Glenn’s renditions of some of his favourite classic songs. Black Sabbath's "N.I.B" and The Everly Brother's "Crying In The Rain" are two tracks included on Skeletons, along with the ZZ Top ballad "Rough Boy”.
Speaking about Skeletons with OCWeekly.com’s Nate Jackson, Glenn Danzig talks about remaking Aerosmith’s "Lord Of The Thighs" for the new album, and gives Steven Tyler and company credit where it's due.
"The second Aerosmith album is pretty cool," Danzig says. "And maybe people who listen to Danzig or other bands I've been in or other genres might not think Aerosmith has some great songs, but they do."
