March 12, 2015, 9 years ago
To celebrate his 35th anniversary fronting the long running German band, founder/singer Chris Boltendahl has issued a teaser about a quartet of live dates, featuring long sought after songs. They're calling these nights an The Best Of The Eighties.
"Grave Digger celebrate the end of our 35th birthday and celebrate this in four cities in Germany with a special party. Many fans desire to hear the seldom (or never) played songs like ‘Headbanging Man’, ‘Tyrant’, ‘Get Away’, ‘Fire In Your Eyes’ or ‘Paradise’. Even songs from spurned Digger album Stronger Than Ever will find their way into the set! Of course all time classics like ‘Heavy Metal Breakdown’, ‘Witch Hunter’ and ‘Yesterday’ will still be included. A journey to the beginnings of a band that reached far beyond the borders of Germany, with its irresistible classics, to worldwide fame. Visually, you will travel back to the 80s ... You will see a band from 1980, who, as hungry Metal kids went out to conquer the metal world."
