German metallers Grave Digger recently unveiled the first details of their upcoming studio album, scheduled for an early 2017 release.

The band, featuring frontman Chris Boltendahl, is already busy in the studio recording the new album. But no rest for the wicked, as they will be hitting the road in North America with their German mates in Blind Guardian, and in Europe in early 2017.

Chris Boltendahl states: “New album, new tour! On January 13th, 2017 we will release our brand new and upcoming album! We’re currently in the recording studio and we are so much looking forward to be touring again! We’ll present a huge and intensive metal package live on tour together with Mystic Prophecy, as well as on our album! 36 years of Grave Digger – metal is alive. Forever!”
