Guitarist JERRY CANTRELL Recovers From Shoulder Surgery

According to the Associated Press, former ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist/singer JERRY CANTRELL is recovering from surgery to repair a rock 'n' roll shoulder injury, publicist Bob Merlis said today (December 12th) The surgery removed bone fragments and repaired cartilage in Cantrell's left shoulder, Merlis said. Cantrell was treated by Dr. Stephen Lombardo, an orthopedic surgeon who serves as team physician to the Los Angeles Lakers. Cantrell's next performance is scheduled for March 10, when he and his former Alice In Chains bandmates Sean Kinney (drums) and Mike Inez (bass) will record an episode of VH1's Decades Rock Live!
