Guns N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus, who has been a member of the band for 16 years, is looking forward To recording his first album with the band.

“Everyone is excited about it. There’s a really magical thing now with the band. It feels like a new band,” Fortus tells St. Louis Post-Dispatch of the GN’R lineup, which since 2016 has included veterans Slash and Duff McKagan. “It feels like the best version since I joined, and it’s the most fun for me. There’s so much excitement around it.”

GN’R recently announced a selection of new stops on the Not In This Lifetime Tour. The highly anticipated North American run of the tour kicks off July 27th in St. Louis, MO and the band have announced eleven more coveted dates in cities across the US including Newark, DC, Hartford, Louisville, Milwaukee, Nashville, Sacramento, and San Diego. They will also be adding a second stop in Toronto, and third dates in both New York and Los Angeles.

Last night the band continued their celebration of the 30th anniversary of Appetite For Destruction and the upcoming start of their North American outing with an exclusive show at Harlem’s world famous Apollo Theater.
