August 31, 2017, 7 years ago
Legendary country singer Glen Campbell passed away on August 8th after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. And last night (Wednesday, August 30th), Guns N’ Roses paid tribute to Campbell with a performance of his classic hit, “Wichita Lineman”, during their concert at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alberta.
Introducing the song, Axl Rose said: “We're going to play something we've never played before. It might not be your thing, but we're just trying to pay a tribute to someone.”
