GUNS N' ROSES "Shocked, Extremely Saddened" About Fatal Bus Crash

Earlier today Excelsior reported that a bus traveling to the Guns N’ Roses concert in Mexico City yesterday (Wednesday, April 20th) crashed on the highway connecting Mexico state and Querétaro, resulting in the death of 35-year old Mauricio Ballesteros Zamora. Close to 30 others were injured in the crash, three of them gravely.
Emergency services were moved to the scene to rescue the injured, who were transferred to facilities of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), in the municipality of Tepeji del Río. Watch a video report below:
Guns N' Roses has since issued the following statement:
"We in Guns N' Roses are shocked and extremely saddened to hear of the horrifying bus crash en route to our Mexico City show yesterday.
Our thoughts and hearts are with the family of Mauricio Ballesteros Zamora. We are so very sorry for your loss.
We hope for a speedy recovery to the 29 other injured fans. God speed.
