Alter Bridge frontman Myles Kennedy, who also works with Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash as part of The Conspirators, recently spoke to TeamRock.com about the current Guns N' Roses reunion tour:

"There was always a feeling inside that it was eventually gonna happen, it's such an incredible band and it was inevitable. When he told me, the first thing I said was, 'You guys are gonna make a lot of people extremely happy, myself included.' I had the opportunity to see the first night they did in Las Vegas. It was just so great to see those guys together on stage again. As a rock fan, it's good for rock. It's a well-needed shot in the arm for rock'n'roll.

"It's going so well, so I don't see it slowing down anytime soon."

During the Guns N' Roses show in Houston, TX on August 5th, the band had to contend with Axl Rose's grand piano breaking down during "November Rain". Rose took it all in stride and resumed playing following a short break in the performance. Check out fan-filmed video, starting with the "Layla" piano exit intro; the fun begins at the 4 minute mark.

Between August 18th and 24th, Canter's Deli will host an unofficial L.A. photo exhibit of Guns N’ Roses with the works of Jack Lue (GNR's "first photographer"), Marc Canter and rock photographer Gene Kirkland.

This is timed not only with GNR's stop at Dodger Stadium, where the band is expected to play at around 9 PM, but also mini-music festival Echo Park Rising — which means that Echo Park, which leads to Elysian Park and Chavez Ravine, is going to require a traffic alert on August 18th and 19th.
