Vanyaland sat down with Billy Duffy of The Cult for an interview ahead of their show Tuesday night in Boston, and when they asked him his opinion on the Guns N’ Roses ongoing reunion saga, Duffy dropped a bit of news - The Cult will be touring with Axl, Slash, and Duff in the coming months.
And while Duffy didn’t elaborate, he did say the dates wouldn’t be taking place in America.
“I believe we will be playing with them at a couple of shows that are not in the United States - I think I can say that - I believe,” Duffy said. “I just found out.”

The rumour mill is currently in high gear, churning out claims that Guns N' Roses will be playing an intimate club show in the Los Angeles area this Friday, April 1st. This could be the build-up to an epic April Fool's joke, but if it does happen a limited number of tickets will reportedly go on sale Friday morning. Stay tuned for updates.
Putting the rumours that G'N'R frontman Axl Rose will be joining AC/DC for a string of shows (see here), Guns N' Roses - featuring original members Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan - will head out on tour this summer. A new video playing “Patience” in the background lists 21 cities. Venues will be announced soon!
Original Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler had been scheduled to perform with his solo band Adler, on April 1st at The Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California. This past week the venue Tweeted that the show had been canceled, adding "Stay tuned for a big announcement! #GunsNRoses"
This further fuels speculation that Adler may join his GN'R bandmates Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan at one, or possibly both of their sold out reunion shows in Las Vegas, Nevada at The T-Mobile Arena on April 8th and 9th.
Currently, the remainder of the Guns N' Roses lineup - beyond Axl, Slash, and Duff - has not been announced. Rumour has it that drummer Frank Ferrer will be behind the kit, Richard Fortus will be playing rhythm guitar, and Dizzy Reed will be on keyboards. It's also unclear whether original rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, and/or Adler's replacement on drums Matt Sorum, will participate in any capacity.
Alice In Chains is confirmed to open both shows.
Dates at the Coachella Festival and and two sold out shows in Mexico City are also confirmed part of GN'R's return to the stage.
