HALESTORM Vocalist LZZY HALE Posts New Lady Evil Diary Entry - "I Would Still Be Rocking Even If Nobody Cared About My Band Or Me"

Halestorm vocalist/guitarist Lzzy Hale has posted a new entry in her Lady Evil online diary entitled Rock N' Roll Church. An excerpt is available below:

"I don’t believe that you 'choose' music. I think that it chooses you.

Music was never just a career choice for me, it still isn’t, I would still be rocking even if nobody cared about my band or me and even if there was no money involved. I’ve just been very lucky, and have worked hard enough to have the added bonus of doing what I love as a living. Remember, an overnight success takes an average of 15 years!

I perform, because for that space and time that I’m on stage, everything in my life makes sense. It is truly a religious experience to be wrapped up in a rock show. No one can bottle it; no one can put a price on it. I understand why so many musicians get into drugs and alcohol to try to keep that high rolling. The boys and I call it the 'Aftershow Afterglow.' If rock n' roll were a drug, it’d be illegal. I want to take a moment to thank You, for going out and seeing live music, and I’m not talking about just seeing my band, I’m talking about any band that makes you tick. It’s because of you that I can truly attend my church every night! It’s beautiful thing to be part of the rock n' roll congregation."
