GAIN Music Entertainment has announced an April 21st North American release date for Hardcore Superstar's HCSS release via MRI. The band will appear at Los Angeles' famed Whiskey A Go Go on Saturday, January 24th while in town mixing the upcoming release with Joe Barresi.
Guitarist Vic Zino offers, "This album is all about doing what we want to do as a band. Not being afraid to change things around and try new approaches was the only guide line we had."
Vocalist Jocke Berg exclaims, "It´s gonna be fucking awesome to play in the US again especially at the legendary Club Whiskey. "
Fresh off a six week European theater and arena tour, Hardcore Superstar returns to North America for the first time in a decade. The street metal heroes from Gothenburg, Sweden plan to stage a full US tour later this year. In the recent past, the band has supported AC/DC, KISS, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe and Motörhead overseas. Last year, the band's co-headline European tour with Buckcherry sold-out a majority of the dates scheduled.
Band members will be attending NAMM, as they globally launch the lead single "Glue" from the upcoming album. On Friday, January 23rd, the band will join headliner Steel Panther at NAMMJam 2015. Now in its sixth year, the invitation-only event is one of the hottest tickets at the annual gathering staged at Grove of Anaheim. More information can be found here.
Gain Records will issue the band's last release, C'mon Take On Me (2013) for the first time in North America simultaneously to the street date of the new studio album.
Hardcore Superstar is:
Joakim "Jocke" Berg (vocals)
Martin Sandvik (bass)
