HEXENHAMMER Officially Reunite
September 22, 2015, 9 years ago
Early this year Heaven and Hell Records located members of the kvlt U.S speed metal band HexenHammer, who had been missing from the metal scene for over two decades. The label would also re-master and re-release the band’s 1990 demo Underground back in May.
“One of extreme metal's most obscenely overlooked and under-appreciated bands,” BW&BK’s David Perri wrote.
Due to the positive response to the reissue and renewed interest in the band, members Gene Davis (rhythm guitar), Jon Lynch (drums), Tony Pruitt (bass), and Ronnie Dean (lead guitar/vocals) have decided to reunite HexenHammer.
A statement from the band’s Facebook reads a follows: “It may come as a surprise to many JamHall people out there, & many new associates, as well - but after 25 years, the members of HexenHammer have decided to reunite the band. They are currently beginning work on a new recording, and reviving their live show as well. More details will be forthcoming when they are available."
Plenty of announcements are coming in the next few months. Follow the band on Facebook for updates.
