Ill Nino have returned with the brand new video for “I’m Not The Enemy”, the powerful track and second music video from their new album Till Death, La Familia. Shot on the streets of Los Angeles, “I’m Not The Enemy” tells a bold story of youthful injustice, overcoming social stereotypes and the dreams of constructing a better life.
Vocalist Christian Machado explains, “We wanted something traditional and classic that represented the everyday struggle between the good side of society, the bad side of society, and the judged side of society.”
The video was produced by Scott Hansen (Otep, A Day To Remember) and co-directed by bassist Laz Pina. The song highlights Ill Nino’s distinctive dual guitar strike, groove-laden percussion while Machado scathingly questions authority “I‘m the bad guy in the backseat, am I the enemy?”
