IMMORTAL GUARDIAN Release "Diamonds And Rust" Cover To Coincide With Upcoming Festival Appearance With JUDAS PRIEST

Immortal Guardian have released a video of Carlos Zema and Gabriel Guardian performing "Diamonds And Rust", originally by Joan Baez and covered by Judas Priest, to coincide with both bands’ performances at Fun Fun Fun Fest 9, on Friday, November 7th in Austin, TX.
The musical arrangement was composed by founding Immortal Guardian member Gabriel Guardian and the lyrical interpretation by Zema was drawn from the Tim “Ripper” Owens version of the song.
Judas Priest has been a huge influence on Carlos Zema, Gabriel Guardian, and the band who are just one degree of separation away Priest via shared producer and engineer Roy Z.
Immortal Guardian’s second EP, Revolution Part I, is the independently released follow up to their debut EP, Super Metal: Edition Z, and prequel to the band’s first full length album, Revolution Part II.
For this second EP, producer/engineer Roy Z (Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson) was brought into the mix to give the record a unique sound that evokes the NWOBHM. He also makes a guest appearance with a guitar solo on the track “Immortal”. “Roy completely molded the band's sound in the recordings,” stated frontman Carlos Zema. “It was from water to wine.”
