Incantation are set to kick-off their tour with Marduk and Abysmal Dawn tonight in Los Angeles. The tour will wind its way through the states, ending with a handful of dates in Canada. Due to logistical reasons, the Canadian dates will go ahead without long-time drummer, Kyle Severn.

Filling the vacant drum seat is Jason Longo, drummer for Canadian death metal legends, Blood Of Christ. Kyle had this to say regarding the situation...

"I would like to announce and send many hailz to Jason Longo (Canada's Blood Of Christ) for filling in for me on the last four Canadian dates of the current Marduk/Incantation tour. He is an amazing musician and will do Incantation and our fans true metal justice.

“Back in May of this year I was denied crossing the border for a twenty-plus year old driving offense, even though I had been crossing over for the past eight years playing shows with no problems. The border has demanded that I go through their rehabilitation process. I have started the application process but no guarantee it would be approved in time for these dates, so i have chosen to sit out so I can return for next years gigs!"
