In the video below from The Drummer's Journal, Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain describes the fight that broke his nose.
Says The Drummer's Journal: “Made a hard-coded sub track which replaces swear words with ye-olde insults. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Sorry for potato quality.”
Despite Iron Maiden’s reputation for focusing on the darker side, Nicko McBrain is a committed Christian.
"I kind of struggled with it earlier on when I first found my faith," he told ABC News around the band’s recent Book Of Souls tour dates down under. But he prayed about it, and says the "Guv'nor upstairs" is fine with what he does.
