IRON MAIDEN’s Bruce Dickinson And Son To Take Part In Charity Race To Cannes

According to the Surrey Mirror, Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson and his son Griffin are among a group of 32 friends who are driving to Cannes with the hope of raising £50,000 for four of their favourite charities.

In pairs, the drivers will travel 832 miles in cheap cars to raise funds for children, domestic violence victims and those less wealthy than themselves.

The rules of the Dash to the Med are simple – each car has to be worth less than £500 and no sat-navs or motorways must be used throughout the journey.

Funds will be distributed equally between Variety children's charity, East Surrey Domestic Abuse Services, The Children's Trust and the Royal Grammar School Foundation.
