JAMES HETFIELD Says METALLICA Have “Booked Out Two Years” For Touring; “I Would Like To Make Some New Music Sooner Than Eight Years, For Sure”; Audio
November 23, 2016, 7 years ago
Speaking to Italy's Linea Rock about Metallica’s new album, Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, frontman James Hetfield also talks about the band’s immediate tour plans and making more new music.
“We’ve booked out two years, at least,” says Hetfield. “So, I can't predict the future, but we start there and hopefully there's more than that. And I would like to make some new music sooner than eight years, for sure. There’s such a pleasure and a joy of hearing your new music and having other people hear it. So we don't wanna wait that long.”
