JON OLIVA’S PAIN Continue Writing For 2015 Album - “It Is Most Certainly A Very, Very Heavy Record”

JON OLIVA’S PAIN drummer Christopher Kinder has issued the following update:

“JOP 2014 and beyond the walls....

Hope you all are well and living the good life. Time for an update about all things JOP and such. Jon is currently rapping up TSO rehearsals and opening show dates before he heads back for Florida and we continue on with the writing for the pre-production of the next JOP cd. Not quite sure of the 2015 release date but I will keep you posted. It is most certainly a very, very heavy record!

Everyone is in great spirits as we move onto the next chapter of Oliva's music. And with JO's busy schedule, the devil is in the details. But we will take whatever time is necessary to bring that new batch of killer ideas to life. But I assure you it will be much sooner than later...

On a side note (and to stay busy musically), I am playing with a great bunch of musicians performing in a 100% authentic Heart tribute band called Barracuda. For anyone in the Tampa Bay Florida area, we will be performing a full two hour concert of the best of Heart on the outside concert stage at Whiskey Joe's Saturday November 15th starting at 8pm sharp. The venue is located on the Courtney Campbell Causeway just west of the airport in Tampa....Come on out and be blown away by this killer band. You will close your eyes and might just believe you are hearing the real Heart band.

Here is a clip of the band recorded live at Jannus Landing in St. Petersburg, Florida just a few months ago...we hope to see you there. I have inside info that the Mountain King will be in attendance.

More updates soon as they happen.”
