JUDAS PRIEST Guitarist GLENN TIPTON - "I Think There's A Good Chance We Will Do Another Album"
July 20, 2015, 9 years ago
Judas Priest guitarists Glenn Tipton and Richie Faulkner recently spoke with Rockpages TV and discussed the possibility of a follow-up to their latest record, Redeemer Of Souls. Check out the interview below:
Speaking with Gannett Wisconsin Media’s Steve Clark, Judas Priest bassist and founding member Ian Hill discussed, among other things, the band’s future.
"I think what keeps us going is the love of the game. We all love what we do," Hill said. "It's something, when I look back, there's a sense of pride that I've been able to do it all of these years."
With Hill (age 64), frontman Rob Halford (63) and guitarist Glenn Tipton (67) all in their 60s, how long Judas Priest continues to rock on remains a question.
"We're going to do it as much while we can," Hill said. "You might think 'OK, I might retire, I've had enough of this.' In fact you feel like that after every tour and then after a couple of months, you're ready to get back at it again. You get those itchy fingers again. Three of us now are a certain age and the time we can't do it anymore is not that far away. It will be a huge blow to any of us so we just want to keep doing it while we can."
