KARI RUESLATTEN And ANTIMATTER Announce Two Co-Headlining Acoustic Shows

Two of the most special voices come together for a once in a lifetime co-headlining acoustic tour. Their music has inspired and gathered fans for several decades, and as their schedules finally could match up, it was a easy decision to put both artists together on the same bill, something that will please fans from far and wide.

On September 9th, Antimatter and Kari Rueslåtten will perform at the Boston Music Room in London, England. On September 10th they will perform at De Verlichte Geest in Roeslare, Belgium. Go to this location for ticket information.

For over 15 years, Antimatter's sound has continued to be expanded and refined. For every darkwave rock song (Uniformed & Black, Stillborn Empires, The Last Laugh) or nouveau progressive venture (Black Eyed Man, Everything You Know Is Wrong, Wide Awake In The Concrete Asylum) there is the one facet of Antimatter that remains, to this day, arguably still the single most defining aural character .. the emotional acoustic content (Comrades, Epitaph, The Weight Of The World). In September, Antimatter's singer songwriter Mick Moss performs a series of stripped, intimate acoustic theatre performances with guitarist David Hall, where the more heartfelt pieces of the projects discography are aired in typical emotional fashion in An Acoustic Evening Of Antimatter.

Kari Rueslåtten (The Sirens, The 3rd and the Mortal) has an extraordinary voice, her natural talent combined with classical training and roots and inspiration from both the Norwegian and Celtic folk music tradition has given her an unique sounding voice. Her music is filled with melancholy and melodic phrases that set out to awake the listeners emotions. Kari was one of the founder members of the progressive doom metal band The 3rd and the Mortal. The band was a source of inspiration for many other bands worldwide, among them Nightwish and The Gathering. Kari has released six solo albums; Spindelsinn (1997), Mesmerized (1998), Pilot (2001), Other People’s Stories (2004), Time to Tell (2013), and her newest release To The North was released last year.
