In a new interview with Guitar Interactive magazine, Kreator frontman Mille Petrozza reveals that fans can expect new music from the band in summer 2020.

Says Mille: "Next year, I'm going to take a year off to write new music, which is going to be exciting because, you know, when you're on the road it's fun to perform, don't get me wrong, but the creative process is what I... that's why you're a musician.

He also reveals: "We will not play any festivals next year. We might do a little bit, but not much. Basically we have next year off to write. I'm planning on releasing something in the summer of 2020."

Kreator and Dimmu Borgir have teamed up for a big European co-headlining run in winter 2018. Check out a trailer video below.

The tour will take place from November 30th - December 16th with support coming from US hardcore institution Hatebreed and death metal supergroup Bloodbath. Tickets go on sale today, June 13th.
