KRIEG Release First Ever Video “Ruin Our Lives”

With Krieg’s latest album now in stores, the band has premiered the first official video by the band for the song “Ruin Our Lives”. Transient, released September 2nd, is the seventh full-length recording from the long-running black metal band. The 56-minute album was recorded earlier this year at Machines With Magnets Studios in Providence and features guest appearance from Thurston Moore and the band’s re-make of Amebix classic “Winter”.
Transient offers Krieg mastermind Neill (aka Imperial) Jameson a continued outlet for personal demons. Beit through his lyrics or the weaving of various sounds and genres, the music has always been an absolving muse for the musician. The musician himself called the record, “the most black metal record I’ve done in almost ten years. At its core, it is the most miserable and anger-fueled thing I’ve ever put to tape.”
Krieg is enjoying a busy 2014 with several split recordings with Wolvhammer (Broken Limbs Records), Ramlord (Unholy Anarchy Records), Ominous Black (Anthropic Records), and Moloch (Depressive Illusions Records) plus the ten-year anniversary reissues of The Black House (cassette/Sol Y Nieve Records, vinyl/Foreign Sounds Records). The band, currently featuring guitarists A. Poole and D. Zdanavage, bassist D. Sykes, and drummer J. Dost with Jameson, is actively booking live engagements along the eastern seaboard with West Coast dates planned for early 2015. The band performed on Static Sessions TV in late July.
