LED ZEPPELIN’s ROBERT PLANT Among Those Taking Part In BAND AID 30 Charity Single

According to AFP, Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant and some 30 other stars gathered in a studio in London on Saturday to record a 30th anniversary version of the Band Aid charity single to raise money to fight Ebola. The artists, under the moniker Band Aid 30, were brought together once again by Boomtown Rats frontman Bob Geldof, to sing the fourth version of "Do They Know It's Christmas?"

The music video will be edited in "record time" so it can be shown on The X Factor at 20:00 GMT on Sunday. The song will be made available to download at 08:00 GMT on Monday, priced 99p. A CD version costing £4 will be released three weeks later with a cover designed by artist Tracey Emin.

The track will not be made available on Spotify and other music streaming services until January.
