With the end of 2016 Alone Records keeps working on their next releases for 2017, this time with the last two studio albums (prior to Live at Rockefeller Music Hall ) from Norwegian masters of prog rock/metal Leprous on limited picture disc edition.

Coal and The Congregation meant the consolidation of Leprous as one of the top most influential prog bands in 21st century, with frontman and genius songwriter Einar Solberg as badge of identity. Both albums will be issued as double picture disc LP with trifold sleeve, each limited to 500 units worldwide. Release date is scheduled for February 17, 2017 by Alone Records.

Leprous will be touring Europe early next year with Devin Townsend and American proggers Between The Buried And Me from late January until mid-March 2017. UK dates will count on Tesseract instead of BTBAM.

Both versions of Coal and The Congregation will be up for preorder tomorrow December 1st at theAlone Records webstore at reduced price and limited bundles.

In other news, Leprous have announced a long overdue vinyl 2LP re-release of their groundbreaking 2011 album, Bilateral, which will be out on January 27th via InsideOutMusic, in good timing for their commencing tour campaign across Europe/UK. Look out for more details and pre-sale info soon.
