Lloth pay tribute to late Astarte leader Maria "Tristessa" Kolokouri with their new video for “Athanati” (Greek for “immortal”).
Says the band: “It is a video with symbolisms about life and death and also for all these that Maria left behind, her legacy, musically and as a human, through her fight for life. The only way to honour Maria and to relieve some of our pain is through our music. Music was part of Maria's life and she was one of the first women who broke the taboo in extreme metal music in a male-occupied scene and became an example for other women to follow. Maria through your music you will exist forever and in our hearts you will live forever.”
