MACHINE HEAD Frontman Robb Flynn On North American Tour Cancellation - "Shit Does Happen And Sometimes Life Doesn't Go The Way You Want It To"

Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn has posted another installment of The General Journals: Diary Of A Frontman... And Other Ramblings on Facebook. An excerpt featuring Flynn addressing the cancellation of the band's North American tour is available below:

"For every person that complains about the tour getting canceled the Head Cases are like 'shut the fuck up, life goes on, M F’n H to the death!!!' So for every one of those people, I thank you VERY much. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate the fact that you do that. Because shit DOES happen and sometimes life DOESN'T go the way you want it to.

I cannot tell you how many times I wanted life to go a different way, and it didn’t, and I wanted somebody to blame, I wanted somebody to point the finger at, so I could go THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!

But the fact is, there isn't always someone you can blame. In my experience, a lot of times when something went wrong, something else went right. Working through these things isn’t easy, but as a result of it, my life was improved because I was open to seeing that."

Machine Head have posted a series of photographs via Facebook, taken on location at the video shoot for their new single "Now We Die".

"Now We Die" appears on Machine Head's new album, Bloodstone & Diamonds, which will be released on November 7th (Europe) and November 10th (North America/UK) on several physical and digital formats via Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

Machine Head guitarist and vocalist Robb Flynn has called the band's new album Bloodstone & Diamonds “a milestone for us. I cannot even begin to tell you how proud we are of this album.”

Bloodstone & Diamonds was produced by Robb Flynn and Juan Urteaga (Testament, Vile) and masterfully mixed by Colin Richardson (Carcass, Bullet For My Valentine, Slipknot, Behemoth).  Additional tracking, editing, and mixing was done by Andy Sneap (Exodus, Arch Enemy, Exodus) and Steve Lagudi.
