MAD ALIEN Release "Kwisatz Haderach (Part III)" Lyric Video

German heavy metal band, Mad Alien, have released a lyric video for the song "Kwisatz Haderach (Part III)". The song is from the album Time War, released on CD and on digital download by Karthago Records.

Says the band: ""This is perhaps the oldest Mad Alien song ever. Actually, I wrote him back then for Ill Prophecy with Michael Kiske on vocals. But after Michi went to Helloween, Ill Prophecy broke... I took it as the first song for Mad Alien! I was inspired for this song by Iron Maiden - "to tame a land" and so it is not surprising that this is the direct continuation of it!"

Coming into the rock scene in 1989 with the EP, We Are Alive, Mad Alien showed a lot of potential with their melodic heavy metal/hard rock. Combining a fine vocalist, good guitars, outstanding songwriting und the typical 80s feel, this high quality was "standard" for all songs also on the new full length in 1992.

The problems for Mad Alien in the early 90s were not produced by themselves, but from a short living Zeitgeist. The Nirvana-poisoned youth was filled up with low quality grunge and other short living alternative trends. So there was no time and space for a fine band far away from the bad smelling teen spirit of the age.

Founder and head of the band, Raico Ebel, still is active with a lot of projects so he supported to bring his very rare masterpieces again on the market via the Karthago Heavy Metal classics series. Of course finally for another public concerning the title of the 1992 final album, Qui Habet Aures Audiendi, Audia.
