MAKE Kick Off 2016 With Free Download; Two New Tracks Streaming

After a hugely successful 2015, which saw the release of their second album, The Golden Veil, a record that garnered plenty of critical acclaim across the board, North Carolina's psychedelic doom outfit, Make, kick off 2016 with two brand new tracks which are available now for here (streaming below).

Always pushing sonic frontiers, these two new improvised tracks were mixed and mastered by frontman Scott Endres and are intentionally mellower than anything that will appear on Make’s forthcoming EP, which the band are due to wrap up recording at the end of January - an unearthly calm before the impending storm, if you will.

Says Scott Endres (vocals, guitar): "We always save studio time for improvisation. There's never any plan to use whatever might come out of it. It's just kind of like collecting a pile of material to look through later for whatever reason. So we had a few things which we didn't really see fitting on an LP or EP, and we just decided to put it out for free. It's also our way of saying "thank you" for all the incredible support we had with The Golden Veil."

The band are currently putting together touring plans for an US East Coast jaunt with Crowhurst in April.

Make are: Scott Endres (vocals, guitar), Spencer Lee (vocals, bass), Luke Herbst (drums).
