MARK SLAUGHTER Gives The Not So Pretty Details On VINNIE VINCENT

In Episode 123 of Three Sides Of The Coin, which originally aired April 21st, Mark Slaughter reveals that when former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent heard Mark sing for the very first time, he said "That's bullshit. That sounds like shit." Furthermore, before a show in Philadelphia, Vinnie told Mark, "You really sounded like garbage last night and if you don't pull it together you're not singing on the record."

Of course, Mark did end up singing on the All Systems Go album by The Vinnie Vincent Invasion, which was released in May 1988; the band would break up in August of that year.

In the video below, Mark Slaughter shares the first comment Gene Simmons said to him when Slaughter toured with KISS. He also shares who got the Vinnie Vincent Invasion their record deal? How Slaughter got their record deal? How Vinnie treated him on stage? Just what kind of a person is Vinnie Vincent? And of course... did Vinnie Vincent save KISS?

(The interview begins at the 23 minute mark).
