MEGADETH Guitarist KIKO LOUREIRO And Wife Are Proud Parents Of Twins - "A Precious Day"
November 22, 2016, 7 years ago
On November 21st, Megadeth guitarist Kiko Loureiro's wife gave birth to twins. He tweeted a photo from the hospital in Finland where the twins were born with a simple caption, "A precious day."
News of the impending birth(s) started the rumour mill in Brazil churning out rumours that Loureiro was leaving (or had been fired from) Megadeth, but frontman Dave Mustaine took to Twitter with a message stating quite clearly that Loureiro was still in the band and Marty Friedman would not be rejoining, as had been suggested by the media
NEWS! @KikoLoureiro is 100% in @megadeth. The sites & sources that said he is leaving are unreliable and should not be trusted at all - DM

Loureiro recently posted the following update with a new video documentary clip:
“With these videos, I wanna show you a little bit of life on the road, of what it's like living the dream of playing around the globe in a legendary band with great people and killer musicians. Not only I have the chance to play in amazing cities, but also we have the time to visit, enjoy and learn a lot about other cultures. Isn't it the perfect job?”
