January 6, 2016, 8 years ago
Metal Allegiance make their return to Los Angeles with an extra special, intimate performance at the Whisky A Go Go on Saturday, January 9th. With the recent release of their self-titled album under their belts, they are bringing their legendary live experience back to where it began.
In conjunction with the Rainbow Room’s Lemmy Kilmister memorial service, Metal Allegiance will pull out several Motörhead songs in honor of the legend. During the tribute, the band will have the honour of jamming with special guests Corey Taylor (Slipknot), John Tempesta (The Cult), and Dave Lombardo for an unforgettable night of music.
"We are paying homage the only way we know how, by playing music," commented Metal Allegiance mastermind, Mark Menghi.
Don’t miss your chance to watch David Ellefson, Mark Osegueda, Phil Demmel, Mike Portnoy, Troy Sander, Alex Scholnick and Mark Menghi do what they do best – play some heavy metal music. Stay tuned – you never know who MA will enlist on the other West Coast stops. Check out the West Coast tour trailer below.
Joining the band on their West Coast run is American power metal kings Cage as direct support as well as Arizona-based all-female rock quartet Doll Skin to get the night started.
