Metallica paid tribute to Celtic Frost and late bassist Martin Eric Ain during their concert last night (April 11th) at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland. Bassist Robert Trujillo and guitarist Kirk Hammett performed the Swiss legends' "Procreation Of The Wicked", featured on 1984's Morbid Tales album. Video can be seen below.

Says Trujillo: "Tonight we pay tribute to the Swiss band Celtic Frost, and this is in memory of Mr. Martin Eric Ain, bass player extraordinaire. This song is called "Procreation... you know the rest. Sing it with me or headband like it's 1984!"

The long out of print EP included five songs that were later released as a part of the Garage, Inc. double album, but Metallica thought it would be fun to bring them back now in the original format straight from 1987.

Keeping with the '80s theme, the remastered EP will not only be released as a CD and download, but also as several vinyl versions including a picture disc, as a cassette, and in a longbox (you youngsters can search the web for that term!).
