METALLICA Upload Pro-Shot Footage Of “For Whom The Bell Tolls” From Webster Hall; New Music Video Sneak Peek Available

On Tuesday, September 27th Metallica played a special show for their fanclub members at the intimate Webster Hall in New York City. The show marked the 30th anniversary of bassist Cliff Burton's death as well as serving as hype for the band's highly anticipated new album, Hardwired...To Self-Destruct.

Check out video footage of the band performing their classic track, “For Whom The Bell Tolls”:

Meanwhile, Metallica have posted a sneak peek from their video shoot last night, along with the hash tag #whatsongisit…

In the clip below, Metallica pull back the curtain in a new behind-the-scenes video chronicling the making of their "Moth Into Flame" video courtesy of Rolling Stone. Director Tom Kirk serves as a guide throughout the clip, discussing everything from the labor-intensive shoot to his desire to create a video that blends a retro rock and roll sensibility with contemporary elements.

Kirk also chats about his love for Metallica, saying, "As soon as I understood the power of guitars and drums and bass and insane vocals, Metallica was there. They've always been on my radar as a band to work with."

Metallica previously posted the video below, filmed at Metallica HQ during the writing and recording of "Plow", the song that later became "Moth Into Flame", from the album Hardwired...To Self-Destruct - available everywhere on November 18th.
