Was there ever any doubt? According to Hits Daily Double, Metallica will easily top the Billboard Top 200 Album Sales chart with Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, predicting 250-270,000 copies during the tracking week. The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) will bump that number up to 260-280,000 units.

As reported earlier, Metallica landed at #6 on Billboard’s Hot Tours list this week with $5.7 million in ticket sales from three performances in support of their new album Hardwired…To Self-Destruct. 69,407 tickets were sold to the band's shows in San Juan, Puerto Rico (October 26), a horseracing track in Bogotá, Colombia (November 1), and a concert at the national stadium of Costa Rica in San José (November 5). The tour also stopped in Ecuador and Guatemala, but those box office stats have not yet been reported.

On November 18th, Metallica unleashed their eleventh studio album Hardwired...To Self-Destruct with a very special live performance from the House Of Vans London. Pro-shot footage of the entire show is available below.

Hardwired...To Self-Destruct is Metallica’s first studio album since 2008's multi-platinum Death Magnetic. The album was produced by Greg Fidelman, who engineered and mixed Death Magnetic, and is available for pre-order at Metallica.com in various configurations including: CD, Vinyl, Digital, Deluxe, and Deluxe Deluxe Versions.
