DocRock at Germany's Metalheads spoke with drum legend Mike Portnoy, who is currently on the road in Europe with The Winery Dogs. He discusses touring versus family, the band's new album Hot Streak, and his secret to remembering the drum parts for all the bands and projects he's involved with such as Flying Colors, Metal Allegiance, The Neal Morse Band, the Tony MacAlpine cancer benefit show, Twisted Sister along with The Winery Dogs material.

The Winery Dogs, also featuring Richie Kotzen and Billy Sheehan, performed at The Forum in London, England on January 31st, and during their set they paid tribute to music legend David Bowie, who died on January 10th at the age of 69 following an 18-month battle with cancer.

The Winery Dogs kicked off the 2016 world tour in support of their new album, Hot Streak, on January 29th in Cologne, Germany. Portnoy has posted the updated schedule, which can be viewed below.

While on the road in the US, The Winery Dogs stopped by the New York's Q104.3 studios. In the clip below the guys talk about camping with fans, performing on cruise ships, and the writing process behind, "Oblivion," the single off the new album, Hot Streak.
