MONSTER TRUCK Premiere Politically-Empowering Animated Video "For The People”; New Tour Dates Announced
November 4, 2016, 8 years ago
Hard rockers Monster Truck premiere their brand new music video for "For The People”, a politically empowering yet non-partisan track from their recent album, Sittin’ Heavy. Check out the animated companion video for the classic roots rock-inspired song advocating power to the people below.
Of the "For The People" video, Monster Truck lead singer/bassist Jon Harvey commented, "We wanted the video to capture a certain vibe. The song was intended to be a pseudo-protest and very roots rock and the 70s animation seem to speak to that. Besides nothing is cooler than hand-drawn animation. The illustrators and animators executed it perfectly."
The "For The People" video is illustrated by Brett Lamb, Leslie Supnet and Eric Kim and is animated by David Mayzis, Les Solis and Greg Zajac. The director is Kyle Griblin.
Monster Truck will return to the United States early next year and is already confirmed to tour their native Canada supporting Billy Talent beginning in February, 2017 and then to headline the United Kingdom in late March, 2017.
