MR. BIG Frontman ERIC MARTIN Checks In From First Show Of ROCK MEETS CLASSIC European Tour 2015 - "Not A Virgin Anymore"

On March 10th the annual Rock Meets Classic tour - featuring classic rock veterans back by a full band and orchestra - kicked off in Ingolstadt, Germany at the Saturn Arena. This year's line-up of featured guests includes Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Rick Parfitt (Status Quo), Eric Martin (Mr. Big), John Wetton (Asia), Marc Storace (Krokus), and Italian singer Gianna Nannini. Martin checked in after the show with the following update:
"Hey kids... first shows are always a little sketchy, there's a couple miscues, not the right guitar for the song, an accident happens, etc. All that sh$t did happen (not to me, mofos. Ha!) but it was one of the best concerts I've ever done. The dream did come true; all my idols shined and I got to sing with all of them on the finale... #1 show with Rock Meets Classic, not a virgin anymore, it's all uphill from here. Rock Meets Classic showcases classic rock artists of the '70s and '80s performing their hits backed by The Mat Sinner Band and the Bohemian Orchestra Prague. The Mat Sinner Band includes Primal Fear members Mat Sinner, Alex Beyrodt (guitars), Ralf Scheepers (backing vocals), and also features Trillium / Avantasia's Amanda Somerville (backing vocals), Avantasia's Oliver Hartmann (guitars), Voodoo Circle's Jimmy Kresic (keyboards), Tiffany Kirkland (backing vocals), Kolinda Brozovic (backing vocals) and Sascha Krebs (backing vocals).
