October 20, 2015, 9 years ago
Swedish hard rockers Mustasch have released a music video for their track “Yara’s Song”, directed, edited and filmed by Patric Ulleaus (Revolver Film Company).
Says the band: “In 2013, 8-year old Yara was sent from Gaza to Sweden by her parents to escape the trauma of war. She came to live with her uncle and his wife in Karlskrona. After many alerts from society about bruises, Yara not wearing enough clothes in winter time, her left alone in their filthy apartment with her baby cousins and other alarming things. Nothing was done. The authorities did nothing. After several months, an ambulance was sent to the apartment where Yara and her relatives lived, just to find Yara beaten to death. Apart from anger and tears, this is our reaction to it.”

Mustasch returned earlier this year with a new single from their album, Testosterone, released on September 18th. "Be Like A Man” is a raw and powerful song about men and their behaviour and the music video to the song is directed by Patric Ullaeus at Revolver Film Company.
"On our new album, titled Testosterone, I deal with my manhood, dignity and tenderness. Testosterone have unfortunately had a negative connotation. Why, then, I wonder? Macho is something I have never recognized in me. To take care of my loved ones has always been more important to me" -Ralf Gyllenhammar (vocals, guitar)
