LA-based My Ruin - featuring the wife/husband team of Tairrie B. Murphy (vocals) and Mick Murphy (guitars) - have checked in with the following update:

"In honor of this date (September 29th), we have decided to make one of our favorite albums from the past available for free via our Bandcamp page at this location.

For those of you who have never heard our 2008 released album Throat Full Of Heart we invite you to download a copy to add to your My Ruin collection. The album is free, however, if you would like to include a donation with your download, we thank you and as always, appreciate your continued support as independent artists!

We previously released TFOH on our own imprint (Rovena Recordings) via Cargo Records UK as a double CD Digipak which also included a 2 hour behind the scenes DVD. Although this album was critically acclaimed, unfortunately the distribution we had hoped to achieve through Cargo was disappointing to say the least and it was very difficult for fans to find in stores at the time of its release. When it did finally come out in the US, it was only available as an import and even harder to find. It was also ridiculously expensive and not available worldwide as promised by Cargo.

Being that we now own the rights, we want everyone to have a chance to finally hear this album which we remain very proud of and which has gone under the radar to some extent. For those of you who want physical copies for your collections, we have made 12 limited edition signed digipaks available to purchase in the store which will also come with a free download of the album.
