Century Media Records has issued the following NAPALM DEATH update:

British grindcore originators NAPALM DEATH have won the “Spirit Of Hammer” category at UK’s Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards. The awards were held on June 11th, 2007 at Koko Club in London and Napalm Death vocalist Barney Greenway received the award from none other than Lee Dorrian (CATHEDRAL) who used to torment his vocal chords for Napalm Death back in the early days.

Furthermore, Napalm Death have just started their UK tour, which will be interrupted by several European festival appearances including Wacken Open Air (Germany), Hellfest (France) to further present their latest full frontal aural assault Smear Campaign live!

In September the band will then visit Australia and New Zealand as well as unleash their politically charged grindcore in China.
