NIGHT DEMON To Guest DJ WJCU's Metal On Metal Tonight!

NWOBHM influenced metallers, Night Demon from Ventura, California, will guest DJ tonight's (June 6th) WJCU's Metal On Metal radio program from 6:30 to 9:30 PM, EST. The band - Jarvis Leatherby (bass/vocals), Brent Woodward (guitar) and Dusty Squires (drums) - will be spinning tunes for the entire three hour broadcast.

Metal On Metal, hosted by Bill Peters, can be heard live at 88.7 FM in the Cleveland, Ohio area or streamed worldwide via the Internet at WJCU.org.

"The support in this part of the country for Night Demon has been overwhelming due in large part to the radio play Bill has given us”, says Leatherby. “He's a big fan of the band. We included his picture and a write-up about him in our new tour program. He was one of the first DJ's to get behind us. As regular listeners to his 'Metal On Metal' show, we are psyched to be hosting it this Friday, playing some favourites of the band, as well as the music that inspired us. Great way to kick off our return to Cleveland!”

"The guys have quite an impressive playlist prepared for my listeners", says Peters. "I had all but two of the twenty-five songs they requested in my personal collection. They obviously have good taste! The band tune in regularly from the road via our mobile app. It will be cool to have them actually live in the studio with me. Jarvis must have been a DJ in a past life. He loves to talk and is very well-versed. I can definitely envision him hosting his own radio show someday. This should be quite entertaining tonight. I'm really looking forward to it!"

Night Demon are currently on tour through September in support of their latest Century Media album, Curse Of The Damned. The band is set to appear at the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland tomorrow night (June 6th). Shok Paris, Destructor and Deadiron support. Tickets are only $10 and available at agoracleveland.com.

"We've adopted Northeast Ohio as our second home”, adds Leatherby. "This will be our third time through. We have a special extended set planned for our Cleveland fans. We'll be playing every song the band has ever recorded. We've also designed a limited-edition Ohio tour t-shirt honouring the fans from this area that will be on sale with our regular merch. We love Cleveland!"

Night Demon plan on taking time off from the road this fall to begin recording their next album.  Promo video for June 6th Cleveland show:
