NIGHTWISH Vocalist FLOOR JANSEN Slams "Re-Issue" Of AFTER FOREVER's Remagine Album - "I Cannot Tell You How Horribly Screwed Over This Makes Me Feel"
April 25, 2016, 8 years ago
Prior to her career as the lead singer of Nightwish and launching ReVamp, vocalist Floor Jansen fronted After Forever. The band released five albums between 2000 and 2007. Jansen recently found out about a "re-issue" of After Forever's Remagine album from 2005 and has posted the following message on Facebook:
"Just found out this exists... I had no idea. I cannot tell you how horribly screwed over and defenseless this makes me, one of the musicians and the face on it, feel. Thanks to whomever is making money on this for ruining this legacy! I don't know what to tell you. As fan of our music, I know you are excited about a new release, but for me this hurts. The unrightful way the masters for our work were taken makes me mad until my last breath. This was our work! Nobody else's!"
The image below is the cover art being used for the bogus version of Remagine. Fans are encouraged to show support for Jansen and her After Forever bandmates by NOT buying this version of the release.
