Niklas Kvarforth's SHINING Announce German Dates And Explain Future Tour Plans
April 20, 2015, 9 years ago
With Shining’s ninth full-length album, IX / Everyone, Everything, Everywhere, Ends, hitting the streets world-wide via Season of Mist, the band has announced that it will play a series of dates in Germany in November. Supporting Shining on the tour will be German bands Imperium Dekadenz and Der Weg Einer Freiheit. Tickets for the tour will go on sale on April 21st.
Dates include:
November
13 - Keller Klub, Stuttgart
14 - Turock, Essen
15 - Underground, Cologne
17 - Schlachthof , Wiesbaden
18 - Magnet, Berlin
19 - Logo, Hamburg
As frontman and founder Niklas Kvarforth explains, the band has eschewed the idea of long tours through several countries in favour of shorter tours in individual countries: "Basically we want to be able to give our audience the best show possible each time we are on stage. And weeks on the road stuck on a cramped, uncomfortable nightliner, with people you don't even know and with no privacy in which to be able to rest and relax, is not conducive to any of us being able to give it our best on stage, particularly myself. So that's something we will definitely not be doing.
"Our booking agent is currently in the process of negotiating and finalising a series of tours in various countries, so you can expect more announcements very soon. Confirmed dates can always be found on our website at shiningasylum.com.
