NINTH CIRCLE Announce Spring And Summer Dates

Ninth Circle continues to support their recent Pure Rock Records release Legions Of The Brave with more dates beginning this spring and continuing into summer.

Bassist Frank Forray discusses the upcoming dates, “Fans are really digging our new record, Legions Of The Brave, and the songs are going over extremely well live on stage. There’s a certain energy level that the fans bring that fuels us on stage, especially with the new songs. There have been a couple of shows where we decided to play a set that consists predominantly of songs from the new album and maybe one or two off our other CDs. The fans are digging the set and with the heavier and faster songs like, All Or Nothing, which is our closing songs it feels like we’ve been through a 10 round fight. The fans are exhausted and we exhausted. The set just builds and builds”.

“The new dates we are announcing are extremely special for the band,” explains Frank. “We will be kicking off the round of live shows starting at the House Of Metal in Santa Ana, CA and then back to back shows at the world famous Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip as part of two fantastic bills. In May we will be playing with the NWOBHM legends Girlschool”.

“We had the pleasure of spending time with the ladies of Girlschool at a party a few years back through our original producer, Billy Krodell, who was producing a track with them and Lemmy… yes of Motorhead. Dennis even got to jam with them and sing a song or two. We got along really well and this show will be a bit of reunion. It will be very nice to see them again!”

Frank goes on, “Then in we June we return to the Whisky to perform with one of Ninth Circle’s most influential bands, Riot. The entire band is beside themselves to be able to play with one of the bands that set a true path for Ninth Circle’s melodic songwriting. Riot has always been a band that Dennis and I looked up to and are inspired by to this day. Recently Dennis was so stoked to be vocally compared to Tony Moore in review of our new record. And not to mention, ‘Swords And Tequila’ and ‘Thundersteel’ were on the short list of songs to cover on the new CD, Legions Of The Brave. Ultimately we recorded Deep Purple’s ‘Stormbringer’.”

“This will be the beginning of our summer cycle of shows and we can’t wait to get out there in front of fans and bring Ninth Circle to the masses!”
