Original TIGERTAILZ Drummer ACE FINCHUM Releases First Book

Ace Finchum (ex-Tigertailz, Angel Witch, Marseille, Steevi Jaimz) has released his first book, A Drummer’s Tailz From The Road: Doing It All For The Recording Contract.
He states: “Being a musician or making a living as a musician is hard work in 2015, but it was hard work in 1979 as well. The big difference being the Internet. Back in the 80's bands sold records and claimed royalties, it paid to be in a big band in the 80s. Mötley Crüe, Poison and Ratt were doing very good business… with sales and the ladies.
“Now, in 2015 you won’t sell any albums, and that is because your new album will be downloaded for free on the Internet. So its tough for new bands now. In 1979 I decided I wanted to be a Rock Star, nothing else mattered, Not school, nor a normal job. I was very determined to make it! And my one and only wish was a simple one really, but seemed impossible at the same time too.
“Before I die I had to record one album, to have something to my legacy, to show I did what I set out to do! One album, that's all I asked God for many times. Well I did eventually do that, and much more. Sure I wanted more, don't we all? So I wanted to share some of my trials and tribulations, and good and bad stories alike to fulfil my dream of signing a recording contract and recording that 1 album to complete my lifelong wish.”
